Pleatco PCC105
The Pleatco PCC105 is a replacement pool filter cartridge for the Pentair Clean & Clear Plus 420 filter system.
PCC105 is Pleatco's number for the Clean & Clear Plus 420 cartridge. It is the same part as the Unicel C-7471 and Filbur FC-1977, just labeled by a different maker. Pleatco cartridges are common in the aftermarket, so many 420 owners find a PCC105 in their filter. At 26 1/16 inches long and 105 square feet, it is the 420-size cartridge in the Clean & Clear Plus family.

How to verify this is the right cartridge
Pleatco prints PCC105 on the end cap. If that is what your current cartridge reads, a PCC105 replaces it directly, along with any of its equivalents.
Working from an unlabeled cartridge, measure: 26 1/16 inches long, 7 inches across, 3 inch openings top and bottom. Those confirm the 420 size. Note that PCC105 and PCC105-PAK4 are the same cartridge; the PAK4 suffix means a set of four, not a different part.
Watch the size within the family. All Clean & Clear Plus cartridges share the 7 inch diameter but differ in length. A PCC105 fits only the 420, not the 320 or 520. Confirm by housing model or length.
