About Meridian Filtration

Meridian Filtration is an independent, US-based specialty supplier of replacement pool filter cartridges. We exist to solve one problem well: helping you order the right cartridge the first time.

Why Meridian exists

Replacing a pool filter cartridge should be simple, and it usually is not. The same cartridge is sold under a different part number by nearly every brand that makes it. A Unicel C-7470, a Pleatco PCC80, and a Filbur FC-1976 are the same physical part for the same filter, but a buyer staring at those numbers has no easy way to know that. The result is that pool owners routinely order the wrong cartridge, wait for it to arrive, and find it does not fit.

Most sellers in this category compete on price and leave the fitment problem for the buyer to solve. We took the opposite approach. We publish complete dimensional specifications and cross-reference data for every cartridge we carry, so you can confirm the fit before you order rather than hoping it works out. That is the whole idea. Facts and dimensions do the work, not marketing.

How we work

We are a small operation by design. You deal with the owner directly, not an automated support system. If you are not sure which cartridge you need, you can send us your filter model or a part number and get a straight answer from someone who knows the parts. We would rather spend the time getting the fitment right than process a return for a cartridge that never fit.

The cartridges we supply are compatible aftermarket parts, built to the same specifications as the original equipment. We are clear about what they are and what they replace, and we publish the data so you can verify it yourself.

Who we are

Meridian Filtration is operated by GJD Ventures, LLC, a California company based in Huntington Park. We are US-based, independent, and not affiliated with the equipment manufacturers whose part numbers we reference. Those references exist to help you identify the right cartridge, nothing more.
